About Us
Since 1997, John Stuttard has worked on almost every challenge and opportunity the event / media industry can offer. Through economic booms or busts, in advanced and in emerging economies, in stable conditions and in turmoil, he’s managed for organic growth, launched new businesses, acquired a variety of businesses, and opened up new global regions. He specializes in “rescue and restructure” missions. He’s worked on over 500 brands.
Having taken time to understand the brief, and the outcomes required, his style is to lead from the front, and start with the people: customers, team members, management and investors. There is rarely an event, or business that doesn’t need a helping hand to invigorate performance. It’s always about growth: either boosting it, or returning to it.
He’s worked across key business disciplines: as managing director, regional director, group director, president of global events, and head of global sales, for the most prestigious event owners in the world, including Reed Exhibitions, Informa, Emerald X, UBM, Advanstar, and American Legal Media. He sat on the board of the IAEE. He has worked all over the world, including the USA, India, China, Mexico, Spain and the UK.
Having worked for the largest trade show organizations since 1997, he’s been offering contract services since 2015.
His mission is to bring experience and skill to event businesses at an affordable rate that will deliver the desired outcome in the minimum time required.
Over 24 years he’s developed a broad network of industry professionals, and can quickly pull together resources required to tackle almost any project.
He has worked for all types of tradeshow organizations: corporate strategics, private equity, trade associations and independent private owners.
